Welder / Shop Floor Lead

H&S Fence is looking for a Welder / Shop Floor Lead to help oversee daily shop production and maintain quality standards. This position is responsible for welding, organizing shop workflow, and helping lead the fabrication team building fencing products and livestock equipment.

This is a hands-on leadership role and the next step before a management position for the right candidate.

Pay & Benefits

• $30 – $38 per hour

• Overtime after 40 hours

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate fencing products and livestock equipment

• Help organize daily shop workflow and production priorities

• Maintain quality standards on all fabricated products

• Assist with training and guiding shop employees

• Read and follow fabrication drawings and measurements

• Operate welding equipment, saws, and fabrication tools

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Requirements

• Welding and fabrication experience required

• Previous experience as a crew lead or team lead preferred

• Strong communication and people skills

• Basic computer skills required

• Ability to read measurements and fabrication drawings

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable and dependable work ethic
